Disco elysium character builds how to#
Game dropped me right into a standoff cos I had no clue how to pass time to get gun (a timed meeting) and all side quests were already done all lands surveyed. This guide and walkthrough for Disco Elysium is a compendium of knowledge about this unusual production. Wasted a lot of time for a shite thought to internalise and when I got it I immediately forgot it - big disappointment to get sober.ĩ:28:44 GMT Pounce de León said:Took a break and finished it now. Would have liked to know more about the pale but maybe my build wasn't so good for that.
The main quest line is not obvious and I mostly dint bother to press it and got busy solving side stuff and exploring. I can't be arsed with such things so I read how to do it. It's bound to have you run aimlessly and potentially get stuck. Main quest is pretty linear with a fucked up situation near the end where you have to pass a shiver check to continue. I can totally see a 2-4-4-2 build giving a complete different experience. I think I ended with 4 or 5 skill points unspent - they just kept coming at the end. Never had to bother about morale neither. That skill from logic tree like the the metaphysical tap. It relied on conceptualisation checks which gave +1 morale and 10XP each passed check. Thought cabinet thoughts were kinda meh, except one artistic. Game dropped me right into a standoff cos I had no clue how to pass time to get gun (a timed meeting) and all side quests were already done all lands surveyed. I've read there's an ending where they don't take you back at all. They were a bit more thrilled taking me back into the rank. The police believed in the phasmid right away and were quite happy with the discovery. With Kim I could take the picture, and it was cool seeing his reaction. So when I woke up the Union boys were cheering up a bit, Kim wasn't thrilled but he was doing ok. Kim didn't get shot, Titus survived and the young black lady as well. Ruby didn't die, she ran away. The tribunal went ok all things considered. I reloaded a save and tried with less fail. It all went wrong but probably saved Cuno life in the long run. Then you can recruit him in a youth police program. I barely talked but Cuno went all in defending my character like his life depended on it. Then the last scene with the was going really really badly. I go to the island with the phasmid and deserter.I figure the case out. The rest of the Union boys, 2 of them left are totally shell shocked. I'm thinking I just screwed everything up. So I went all gun blazing, Kim got shot as well. Then the tribunal went haywire, I was trying to calm things down, the black young lady got shot. I did not see that one coming at all, so I was a bit shocked. So first time I went into the tribunal, Ruby had just shot herself in the head. Every game is about the illusion of choice more than actually impacting anything of relevence. I'm fine with there not being as many as people imagined. Just trying to figure out how different certain outocmes can be. Or could he just quit because you were being a racist asshole?ĭon't take that as criticism though. I read he CANNOT die during the shootout. I'm curious what you mean about Kim though. Hell, I said I QUIT and the dialogue still played out with the higher ups totally ignoring that and the ending was open same as if I wanted to stay. Because the writers wanted to get a specific message across. The game is SUPER linient about what you actually do. Somebody never found their gun or their badge, was drunk as a skunk and fucked up in so many ways and STILL did not get fired at the end. The devs REALLY didn't want that outcome. (That's what I gathered from the internet, mind you.)īut apparently it's super hard to get fired at the end. You cannot meet the old crazy woman otherwise. For example, you cannot find your gun without helping Claire, I believe.
